RIM's BlackBerry Pearl caused quite a stir when it appeared thanks to its slimline format. Now the Pearl has been updated, with Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headset jack and improved camera added to the mix to help enhance its appeal to consumers.
It is still a slimline device suitable for smaller pockets, and still uses the SureType text entry system - part of which involves two qwerty characters sharing a single key. You'll either like or loathe this aspect of the Pearl 8120, but I've found that with a bit of practice it can become quite fast to use. There is a spellchecker this time around too.
