Satnav products for handheld devices are becoming more popular, and there are more of them about. ALK's CoPilot is a longstanding favourite with me, and the new version, for Windows Mobile initially but with other platforms to follow, builds on earlier successes.
ALK has completely overhauled the user interface added a number of new features and tweaked existing ones. The software seems to calculate routes more quickly, and importantly, entering locations is far easier than it was before. The revamped cycling mode still isn't what I'd call ideal, but that is more down to the data provided to ALK by NAVTEQ than to what ALK does with it.
