Sony's Vaio range of notebooks includes some super models that combine stylish design and good functions. The VAIO VGN-TZ11XN/B is a case in point.
This is an ultraportable notebook weighing just over 1Kg but packing in some good hardware features including a fingerprint sensor, buttons for media playback which sit on a panel on the front of the screen, a 100GB hard drive and a camera located above the screen where it is ideal for video calling.
I'm not entirely happy with some aspects. The lid section is rather flimsy and the keyboard comprises an unusual design of separately spaced rather than contiguous keys which took me a little time to get used to.
