Back in November I looked at Vodafone's USB 3G modem. T-Mobile has launched its own rival and I've just reviewed that for ZDNet.co.uk.
The two modems are the same in design and function. That is to say they are both connected to your computer via its USB port, they both self install, and they both support HSDPA.
They have different desktop software, though, and the tariffs of the network operators vary too.
I was as impressed with T-Mobile's offering as I had been with Vodafone's, and not only because they function well for internet access when you are on the move. They double for home internet access if your regular broadband service takes a holiday.
