There are plenty of people that want a mobile phone for occasional use, and don't therefore want to take on a contract. For them the range of handsets is large, and currently it includes the KGP202 from LG.
This is a clamshell mobile which comes in at a very attractive 75g of weight. It is not brimming with features. No music player, no Bluetooth, no way to connect to a PC, 4MB of memory and no flash card expansion, and a VGA camera. Nor is this phone great for browsing. Its screen is pretty small and low resolution and the browser itself is not up to much.
The long and the short of it is that this really is a phone for the occasional voice call or SMS and not much else. So its small size, and large easy to use keyboard, should stand it in good stead. My full review is published at TrustedReviews.com, here.
