USB drives are all the rage, but drives that meet the 'U3' standard seem to be quite a well kept secret at the moment, and for no apparently good reason.
U3 key drives can store and run software as well as allow you to carry data from place to place.
You can protect their contents from unauthorised access, and even synchronise internet bookmarks. Probably better than all of that, though, for today's mobile worker, is the fact that when you use one on a computer you can leave that machine safe in the knowledge that not a trace of anything you've been doing is left behind.
