Just when you thought you had heard quite enough about EU regulations on personal data (or, to put it another way, the General Data Protection Regulation), along comes another EU initiative in the shape of the ePrivacy Regulation. It's set to come into effect during this year, and though it has a different focus to the GDPR, it has been shaped in many ways to work in tandem with the new data protection laws.
