Only six months ago I reviewed this handset's predecessor, the Xperia XZ2. It had potential, but was ultimately somewhat disappointing. That's been the story for Sony's Xperia line for a while, but there's a lot to like about the £699 (inc. VAT; $899.99 in the US) Xperia XZ3, including Android 9 (Pie) and a superior 6-inch OLED screen. There are some oddities too, but Sony's Xperia range is definitely moving in the right direction.
