Panasonic's CF-T8 is a semi-rugged ultraportable notebook aimed at the business user who needs a little more robustness than a standard notebook can supply.
A strap on the underside of the notebook helps you hold steady it in one hand. With most notebooks this might seem a little strange, but the CF-T8 has a touch sensitive screen which makes this kind of use more viable.
The round touchpad is distinctive and easy to get used to, but one serious failing is the lack of an optical drive.
