The 5800 XpressMusic is Nokia's first touchscreened mobile phone.
It is mid range in terms of many of its capabilities, and the touch screen feels like what it is - an add-on to the Symbian operating system rather than a system built from the bottom up.
It certainly shouldn't scare the likes of Apple, Samsung and LG as far as touchscreen systems are concerned, but as a first toe in the water it is a fair attempt at the touchscreen idea, and Nokia being Nokia I am sure there is a lot more to come.
