Dell Latitude E6500

Dell's Latitude range of notebooks is user configurable to the Nth degree, which is good in some ways. You can have the processor, hard drive, wireless options and so on that you like. But don't be fooled by the low entry level price as you'll invariably want to up the ante and improve on the base specs.

There are a couple of real plus points to the version of the Latitude E6500 I saw. I really liked the sensor catering for automatic screen brightness adjustment and the backlit keyboard. Both are great enhancements to working in a range of different conditions.
