Small notebooks with integrated 3G communications and fingerprint sensors are ideal for the business traveler. The P7230 falls into that category, and the solid build and very nice keyboard add to its appeal. The small camera sitting above the screen will be useful to those who like video conferencing.
For prolonged battery life you can hit a button which turns on ‘Eco’ mode. This turns off power to the optical drive, PC Card and flash card slots, disables Wi-Fi and FireWire and lowers the display brightness.
