Nokia N76 review published

Nokia's N range of handsets is all about showing off what the company can do at the top of the consumer market. Often mobiles in the range have high-end multimedia features and/or innovative hardware design.

The N76 seems like something of a throwback when evaluated in these terms as it is a chunky clamshell phone with general specifications that are more average than leading edge.

It is a quad-band, 3G mobile so that's a good start. There is a lot of metal in the casing, and that is appealing too.

It is a large phone and most people are likely to need two hands to open the flip. Sure, it plays music, but with just 26MB of built in memory you may find yourself wanting microSD cards fairly quickly. And I found the headset jack to be poorly located. It is on the top edge of the phone and when headphones are plugged in it interferes with you opening the flip to its full extent.

Battery life isn't wonderful either. To find out what I clocked this at, and to read my full review, go to TrustedReviews.com, here.
