Nokia 3110 Classic review published

If you hanker for a mobile phone with a fair range of features that is straightforward to get to grips with, then Nokia's 3110 Classic could be just what you need. It doesn't nip at the heels of the market leaders, but it is a steady operator. You'll need to make sure it has the features you want, though.

The screen has been sacrificed in favour of the keys - the former is relatively small, the latter are relatively large. You'll need to weigh up whether this works for you. Certainly if you are a frequent user of Wap services the screen may be too small for your needs. The mono earbud and 2.5mm connector both mean this is not a phone for music fans, though it does have a player and an FM radio. Battery life is good, the 1.3 megapixel camera not so good.

In the end, this handset may be ideal for some, but will disappoint others. It is a matter of deciding whether what it does well is what you need to have done well.
