Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook P1610 review published

Notebook computers don't get much smaller than the dinky P1610. At 23.2cm by 16.7cm by 3.45-3.7cm and 1.2kg it is almost, but not quite, pocket sized. Moreover, it is a convertible Tablet PC, and while testing it I found that twisting the screen face up it made the ideal device to hold in the hand while lounging on a sofa and web browsing.

Of course some compromises have had to be made to produce a notebook this small. Notably, there is no optical drive built in, the screen measures just 8.9 inches corner to corner, and the keyboard will only suit those with small hands.

But it does function surprisingly well, and if size is of optimal importance to you, it may fit the bill.
