Sony VAIO VGN-UX1XN review published

Sony's VAIO VGN-UX1XN is a weird beast indeed. Read the specifications list and you can't fail to be impressed by this ultra-small format device. Its specifications would put many notebook computers to shame.

It has, for example, two cameras one of which is front facing for video calling, a mini keyboard that slides out from behind the small touch sensitive screen (4.5 inches corner to corner), fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi. And it runs Windows Vista Business, which suggest Sony thinks this computer is far from being a home users ghizmo. The whole thing weighs under 500g.

Perhaps the most exciting feature is the solid state hard drive.

But is it really usable? The hard drive may impress in terms of stability and speed, but it is only 32MB in size. As for the rest, read my full review at ZDNet.co.uk here.
