Sagem My215x review published

Sagem's mobile phones don't hit the headlines, but they do tend to be pretty solid and nicely designed handsets. And the My215x can be had for as little as £20 in the UK on Pay as You Go from Vodafone.

At that price you shouldn't have particularly high expectations. There is no camera here, no web browser, no expansion for the 256MB of built in memory, and the 1.6 inch 128 x 128 pixel screen is not going to grab your attention.

On the other hand this phone is light at just 69g, has big buttons which will make those who fumble around with smaller buttoned handsets smile, and functions in USB Mass Storage mode. This means you can attach it to your PC with a mini USB cable and can copy data including MP3 files to the internal memory. It played music for seven and a half hours off a full battery charge.

The pink and white colour scheme won't appeal to everyone, but if you are on a tight budget and don't need lots of features, this could be a handset worth considering.
