Sony VAIO VGN-TX5XN/B review published

Sony’s ultraportable VAIO VGN-TX5XN/B is a notebook with plenty of features. A fingerprint reader, integrated optical drive, Windows Vista Business and 100GB hard drive are among them.

At 1.25Kg it should be easy to carry around, but an inevitable consequence of its small size is the 11.1 inch wide screen. While it is possible to open two working windows at once, you may find you need to squint at the screen to work effectively.

Also, while there is no doubting that Sony's usual high standards have been brought to bear in terms of the overall look of this notebook, I do have some issues with the hardware design. To find out what they are, read my full review at ZDNet.co.uk, here.
