Nokia 1110i review published

Not everyone wants a fancy mobile phone. Some people just want to make voice calls and send the odd text. For such people Nokia's 1110i might seem to be the ideal handset. It is low key and low cost, lacks a camera, and is certainly basic in features.

But when testing it for TrustedReviews.com I got the feeling Nokia had not got any kind of grip on what the non-technical user wants from a mobile phone.

This isn't a handset which makes use of modern capabilities like a large screen and dedicated keys to make using a mobile easier than ever. Instead it is a throwback to the old days of difficult to remember nested menus, and a contacts database that lets you have just one phone number for each person you know.

I wanted to be able to review a handset for the non-technical, but this is not it. Read my full review here.
