Samsung's SGH-X830 is one of the most surprising mixes of mobile music player and phone I've seen. In size and shape it looks like a music player, and it is made in two layers which swivel round a hinge at one end. It is only when you go through the swivel motion that the phone number pad is revealed.
The very small size of this phone/music player means the phone side of things has gone through a few compromises: for example the number pad is two column rather than three column, the screen is very small.
