HTC S620 review published

HTC's S620 is a Windows Mobile Smartphone with a wide screen and a mini keyboard.

It is not much different in size to a Windows Mobile Pocket PC, but its truncated feature set means you don't get software like Word Mobile or Excel Mobile for document creation. However it does have the ability to be synchronised over the air with office networks running appropriate Microsoft software, and for those without networking at their fingertips can handle ordinary POP email accounts.

The wide screen is a bit of a rarity for Window Mobile Smartphones, and it does make reading documents and viewing web pages a little easier on the eye than the more usual tall format screen. It has Wi-Fi, which is something of a treat if you have a wireless network to tap into.

It also has a touch sensitive system called the JOGGR for navigation around the device, which, not to put too fine a point on it, I loathed during testing.
