It is a huge piece of hardware whose main claim to be different lies in its ability to capture high quality video. The Carl Zeiss optics work a treat and using the provided cables to push video to another device, such a TV, is very rewarding.
There is a lot more going on here than this, though. You can send any output from the phone to an external device - not just movies - so you can show web browsing sessions or other phone centered activity to a wider audience. This is a 3G handset with video calling capability, Wi Fi and Bluetooth are built in, opening up another world of possibilities. And there is more.
