What's interesting about this notebook at first glance is that it runs on Intel's Dual Core processor. But there are two other things I like about it.
First, it has a built in camera - located above the screen. You can use this for video calling and it is an very nice accompaniment to the built in Wi-Fi.
Second, Acer has a nice trick up its sleeve for VoIP in the shape of a PC Card sized voice phone whose battery is charged via the PC Card slot, and which can be used for Voice over IP calls.
Do these features give the TravelMate 3012WTMi enough of a boost to lift it above the mainstream?
